Can You Do Next Day Delivery?
We can offer next day delivery so long as your order is placed before noon and the delivery location falls within the next day delivery zone, but with an additional delivery charge may be incurred. Can I Add Additional Items To My Order?
You can add additional items to your order, however before adding additional items, please contact us on 07405343273 or send us an email to sales@mymoderngarden.co.uk.  Please note that adding to an order may incur an additional delivery charge as the orders can be shipped separately.
 
Can I Change My Delivery Address?
If you need to update your delivery address or delivery date, please contact us on 07405343273 or send us an email to sales@mymoderngarden.co.uk.  Please note that changing the delivery address may incur an additional delivery charge based on the address location and time of the notice if already booked delivery cannot be cancelled.
 
What Can I Do If I Want To Return Items?
We can accept returns as long as the materials are received at our central warehouse in perfect condition. If you are having trouble arranging a return or are unable to return the materials directly, we can sometimes offer a collection service for mainland England. The minimum collection cost is £125.00 for returns over 80kg. Please note that the price will vary depending on the weight of the products you wish to return and collection postcode. Please inquire for a quote and further information.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

How do your product react when exposed to water?
My Modern Garden composite products are designed to take on truly little water. Wood composite material moister content in normal conditions is close to 1% when natural timber product can reach up to 24%. Our ranges have a much lower absorption rate than timber which heavily reduces the likelihood of wet rot over a more extended time.
 
Will the product fade over time?
Products will naturally lighten over the first 2-3 month and then will stabilize after this period.
 
What cleaning products I can use?
Using a standard household washing up liquid will be effective when cleaning our decking and fencing products, do not use any cleaners stronger than this or any cleaners containing a bleaching agent.
 
How do I clean my composite fencing?
It can be cleaned in a variety of ways depending on the mark or stain you need to remove. In the first instance, you can try cleaning your fence surface with warm soapy water and a soft-bristled brush.
 
Can your products get marked?
My Modern Garden composite products are manufactured to withstand the natural weathering elements, but to ensure their lasting beauty, we recommend taking extra care when moving heavy items on your decking to avoid scratching. Any marks will naturally weather and blend in with the rest of the board after 2-3 months. Natural tannin watermarks may also appear in the first 1-2 months after installing our range products. This is the natural tannin oils being released from the wood powder and will wash away over time or can be removed with warm soapy water.
 
Does your fencing require painting or another kind of treatment?
Our collections of composite fence products are already coloured, so do not require painting at all. Also, due to the plastic content within our products, there is no need for any further treatment. This also makes it easy to clean.

Do you offer installation?
Yes! My Modern Garden is pleased to offer Fencing and Decking installation services. Our team of professional builders has the experience and knowledge to provide you the best service possible. Our team will advise and support you through the whole installation process. 

 
How much does the installation cost?
Every single project is unique so we can give you only an estimate. Our installers will carry all necessary groundworks. If you choose to install lights, we can arrange our qualified electricians to assist you too. Your old fencing can also be carried away from your premises at an additional charge. Does your product come with an installation guide?
All our products listed on the website come with an easy to understand and downloadable installation guide.
 
What tools are required for installation?
To install our composite fencing products, you will only require basic woodwork tools, hammer drill and impact driver. We recommend a mitre saw with a thin kerf 40-tooth alternate top bevel finish blade to achieve the cleanest cuts and accuracy of the installation for cutting the final boards in the last run.
 
Do I need to keep gaps and spacings between boards and posts?
As composite and plastic material expands and contract down the length of the product from changes in temperature, thanks to our composite fencing design a small expansion gap is left between the post and the boards of each product and you don't need to worry about it.
 
What fixings do you recommend?
All Fixings and brackets are supplied with our composite fencing products, however you will need to add 1 additional starter post. For the composite decking you will need an invisible starter and invisible black decking clips. We recommend 20 invisible black clips per 1 square meter. Our invisible black clips come in a combo package of 100 black clips with 200 stain steel screws.
